Providence Coaching was born out of Lee Bates' thirty-year journey as both a business leader and a guide. When colleagues began seeking him out not for his résumé but for his rare gift of listening, speaking truth with care, and seeing what others couldn't, Lee knew he had a calling. He named his company Providence Coaching — not as a marketing decision, but as a declaration: every step of his journey had been guided by an unseen hand, and that conviction of purpose is woven into every program, every session, and every interaction. What began as individual executive coaching grew into the flagship Next Level Leadership program — a four-year curriculum that has transformed struggling leadership teams across dozens of organizations.

In 2026, Providence Coaching took its most significant step yet. Carlos Rosales — a proven business coach for the past 18 years, a Convene Chair, author, and a man who shares Lee's conviction that timeless leadership principles exist to serve people — approached Lee with a challenge: scale what works. The result was Legacy Leadership, a Licensed Partner opportunity that allows qualified coaches and consultants worldwide to deliver the same proven Next Level Leadership curriculum that has transformed organizations for over a decade.

Together, Lee and Carlos launched Legacy Leadership in January 2026 with a bold vision: to equip over 150 Licensed Partners by 2030 and reach more than 2,000 leaders across the globe. What Providence Coaching built, Legacy Leadership now multiplies — so that more organizations can move from dysfunction to thriving, from silos to alignment, and from managers to leaders who develop other leaders.
